Game description
The objective of this game is to ensure a moment of genuine laughter for your guests. We believe this format is very suitable for large events such as weddings, or even birthdays in a hall or any large space with plenty of people.
You will need to choose guests who are willing to let go a bit to make everyone laugh and find some satisfaction in it. Indeed, the selected guests will need to accept being made up.
An emcee will be welcome to energize the game and excite the audience.
Necessary accessories
- Provide a makeup kit for each participant (and makeup remover...)
- Provide a Miss sash and even a crown
End of the game
The audience will decide the winner by applause after each participant has presented themselves to the crowd.
Game rules
- Identify 3 to 5 men who are willing to participate in the Miss of the Evening game. This can start with spontaneous volunteers. If there aren’t enough participants, the stars of the evening can choose the men they want (the stars of the evening are the newlyweds, the birthday person, etc.).
- Once your candidates are gathered in the center of the stage, ask them what they imagine based on the name of the game.
- Now it’s your turn to explain the game’s objective to everyone: we are going to crown the ‘Miss of the Evening’ tonight! Each of our candidates will have the great pleasure of being made up to become the prettiest Miss of the evening! At this point, the tension should rise.
- For this, you now need to form pairs. You need as many MEN as there are candidates on stage! Yes, men and not women… That would be too easy :).
- The pairs are formed, and the person being made up sits on a chair if necessary. The makeup kits are distributed (at least 1 for every 2 teams).
- The timer starts, giving them 5 minutes. Someone should keep track of the time: tick-tock, tick-tock.
- If someone can film the participants during the game and project it on a big screen, that’s even better.
- STOP!!! 5 minutes are up.
- To allow the audience to vote, the participants quickly approach the audience to parade, without lingering, then return to the center of the stage.
- We ask the audience to applaud for each participant to elect the “Miss of the Evening.” For this, you can use a sound meter app: Decibel X on iPhone or Decibel X on Android (it’s not the same app – your feedback on the recommended app is welcome).
- The winner is announced, and you just have to give them their sash and crown.
